do you use powder inside your tires when installing a new tube?

a few of my fellow mechanics swear by it i personally dont when installing a new tube. i realize that yea after a very long time the tube can stick to the tire but that is if it has been in there for a really long time. and if you mess up inflating it like my co worker did the other day when the tube explodes it makes a huge white cloud of powder floating around the shop.
 
I've heard of the powder trick but never used it or missed it.

Many inner tubes have powder on the inside so when they blow, you've got the cloud.

I always do, it doesn't take long especially on my larger mountain bike tire tubes(2.5"+) to get so stuck to the inside of the tire that it feels like you're ripping the tube when you attempt a repair. Pretty hard to over-inflate with the little trail pump so I'm not too worried about the cloud :wink:
