The owner bought it new in 1958 but I just don't know much about Firestone bikes. If anyone knows about these,please fill me in. Thanks!

Looks like a Columbia build. The wishbone seat & chain stays are common to that maker. Looks to be in great shape.

Surely sold at Firestone tire dealers. Similar to BF Goodrich and Goodyear bikes. Western Flyer at Western Auto stores, True Point at TrueValue hardware stores and so on.

Thanks for the info! I agree, it does have that Columbia styling.
 
It's a Snyder built bike (Rollfast). The graphics look great!

The serial number should validate 1958 as the year, but it looks to be early 60's.
