I am reintroducing myself. Eight years and a few hundred events later. I'll start with my first attempt at a Ratrod when he and I figured out we were buying bicycles from the same thrift stores and cleaning them up.

It turned out okay eventually

All my events keep getting cancelled this year and luckily I realized I had time to catch the build off. It reminded me I had a gigantic toy box out here that is completely Steve's fault to play with.

Anyway a few thousand bicycles later I remembered how happy wrenching on this stuff instead of politicking makes me. Another early attempt at a Ratrod that turned out okay

If I can't go hang out with a few hundred friends that doesn't mean I can't aggrevate a few of them so here I am again

Welcome back. You nailed it with your 'politiking' comment. Too much of that in general going on. This is WAY more fun and constructive, in all senses of the word.

I mean I grew up a little in the "don't be rude department" not the don't do stupid dangerous things department. Did I mention I finished this in March and told Huffy yeah go crazy there is no way I have rights to this idea we all have wanted one since we were in tiny bell bottoms and Ernie and Bert shirts after some video of me wrecking it, it rolling me like an alligator went viral in July ish and they released the electric green machine just in time for Christmas? Whatever you do don't say anything about the absolutely obvious air intake leak issue. Yeah I knew that and didn't care and eventually fabbed a new intake for it that did not leak. It is not like i was riding it to work. About thirty minute on this thing is all a grown healthy fit human being can manage is all i am saying. It is upside for starters and there where a few challenges. I am just saying

I mean I built plenty of bicycles I just don't feel as compelled to promote the petrol stuff even if it is technically a bicycle in Texas as I used too. Still love a lot of the guys doing it just whatever. Legit vintage Italian mill on a 68 Schinn Heavi duti

because it was a bicycle first is all I am saying. I just got tired of pedaling a few of these. I only have 70 at the house right now if you don't count the bicycles without tires or wheels or a saddle and stuff. I also got tired of trying to teach people how to make the two stroke chineese mills actually work. It is kind of exhausting. Plus I can't ride them in the park or on any trails so that is bad word inserted here

Me: Hello... everyone... Uh, my name is Joel and I am addicted to purpose built, vintage, antique, and custom bicycles.
Everyone: Hi Joel.
Me: Uh... It has been three hours, 13 minutes, 32 and a half seconds since I swooned over some random bicycle part I found in my garage in my garage.

P.S. Not for sale!!!!

I mean you can't save them all but I keep trying so... there you go
