Dumpster Huffy

A friend found me a huffy frame, fork, bars, and fenders propped up against a dumpster. I've been working on a cruiser for my son to bar hop on. The parts are like new. One of the rear drop outs had opened up. A little hammer work closed it back up. I took apart a wheelset, cleaned the rims and spokes, then laced them back up with a rebuilt bendix hub. I put a very sweet set of Dyna Fireballs on them and it's one bad rolling machine!

Looks like a cranbrook. . Early to mid 2000's
Later cranbrooks have heavier guage spokes...

The wheels are a 1989 vintage that I cleaned up and the tires are very Definately aftermarket!

I like it, nice build, I really like the fireballs. I also like finders on a bike. Good for rolling home in the rain from the pub.
