I just got done talking to a guy with 2 CWCs on CL here in town (I was 2nd in line - figures) and he was telling me about some of the stretch Dynos he has & has had. I commented that I like the ones that look like they have a gas tank built into the top bar & he said on the one he had the tank was plastic. Are they all plastic? Looking at pics of them I just thought they were metal permanently attached to the frame. If all the tanks were plastic that really blows the image I had in my mind. Please tell me that at least some were steel.

Ive had 4..... all plastic

ive seen some of the "kustom kruiser" bikes(which i believe is what the dyno cruisers became), with welded on tank plates, cant say ive seen a stretch though.

I have a Dyno Ultra Glide with a plastic tank. It still looks great!
I've seen the new KK cruisers with the welded on metal tank. The whole bike just looks ugly by comparison and the frame isn't as stylish. I'll take mine over the new ones every time!
