Sorry if this is not in the right forum. I am interested in building a stretch ride like the Dyno Roadster. Are the clone frames such as those sold by Lovelylowrider any good?

Any other suggestions as far as an available frame?

Thanks

Robert

I just got a true D R and the frame is the only quality pc as the chrome and painted pcs have rusted.
I'm sure you will be fine with any frame (ranging from $79 to $150 ?) Fun ride, get gears and look
for flat paths as you cannot stand up on these w/o ape hangers. Good Luck!!

AND even if you get ape hangers, depending on how much you weigh the springer may make it impossible to stand up as well. I put a bent springer on mine and while my pedals scrape every now and then with normal riding (I like the length of the stock cranks) if I try to stand up while pedaling the spring compresses from my weight shifting more to the front end and my pedal goes right to the ground...
