Early 50's Hawthorne

This is the early 50's, I'm guessing it's between 1950 and 53 by the springer, CWC built Hawthorne I picked up today for $200. I'm going to use the tank for my red bike, and maybe make a rat bike out of the frame. Be a neat rat bike with that springer up front.

EDIT: I'm NOT going to part it out and make a rat bike out of it afterall. It's too complete and original for that. It'll just be another old bike to take up space in the garage.

Yeah, all the whining I did about wanting a tank, and I end up getting not just a tank, but a complete deluxe Hawthorne, with the springer no less! It was worth being out in the cold rain to score that bike!
