My son is crazy about trains and we've actually been to the spot in the photo, it's called Travel Town at Griffith Park in L.A. It would be cool to take him there with his bike for a little photo shoot..
Can anyone spot the misprint in the ad text ?
I see what you’re saying, but to my knowledge the bikes of yesteryear were referred to by wheel size and not seat tube length, although I do recall a gentleman measuring my inseam at the local Schwinn shop when I was a kiddo. The only other descriptor I see that would make any real fit difference is “tall frame”, which I believe was a special order for full size frames.16 inch frames, should be 16" wheels. yeah, 16" is a pretty big frame size for a kid.
In adult (26") mountain bikes, frame sizes usually run 15, 17,19 with some even bigger and the rare XS 13" that fits kids about 10 year old.
That's funny ^^^. In that case the Midgets shoulda been called Little Person StingraysIs the error "STING-RAY BIKES FOR JUNIOR BOYS"? I'm curious if they could be used by lads not named after their father
Thank you, that's very nice of you, I really appreciate it.…..any error on that page is made up for by the picture of your son. My wife showed me this thread. It’s something her and I talk about. When we see the small bikes, we say imagine when it was new. Thinking of the child. your picture is awesome. As I’m sure you’re son is too.
