so there might not be too many bikes posted in this thread for me but ill still post up what i get this year!! Here we go!!!

first up: i actually got this last year but just unburied it in my garage this weekend. its an old murray tricycle. its in super good shape for considering its age. anyone with any info on it would be greatly appreciated!! i got this for $15 off CL

next up is a free spirit i picked up for a small fee. its in immaculate condition and might get flipped!! if anybody shows any interest in it, let me know. its got a good shimano 3speed internal. the cable housing is broke but could be an easy fix.

i think the maurray trike is a jetfire maybe? i know an antique shop around here had one with the same front end and it was a murray, ill double check the model/take a pic next time i go by too, need to pick up a wagon from there anyway

so i finally got around to takin a few pics of a couple more bikes ive picked up. nothing too special really.

Giant Boulder MTB. this one gets alot of miles put on it. it was basically brand new when i bought it from my uncle. 3weeks after he bought it from a lbs, he crashed his dirtbike pretty bad and put him in the hospital, hes fine now that was like 3yrs ago. but he never really rode this bike at all. it still had the nubbies on it.

next up is a schwinn tornado i got at an auction for $12.50! it appears to be all original. gonna try and sell it at the Peddlers Swap in April

then while we were at the auction. some guy told my father in law and i to check out the salvage yard up the road. where i found this bike. all pro k-mart corporation. obviously a murry made bike. finned dropouts and chainrings a dead giveaway.

and last but not least is a schwinn metro cycle that i picked up for free from out back of the LBS. slapped some brand new kendas on it and it rides like a dream. got a SA 3spd out back. its goin on CL soon.

The Metrocycle might be one to hit ebay. Very clean.

The Tornado is cool in the orange color. I have only seen the black ones.

the metrocycle is pretty clean but the decals on the left hand side of it are kinda boogered up a little. you guys might not be able to see it from the pics but there is a RRB.com sticker on the seat tube!!! any idea what the metrocycle would bring on Ebay?

as for the tornado, thats exactly what i thought about the orange frame. i did a little research on google images and they say its a 1979, but matching the serial numbers to the CABE, its a june 1977. so any info on it would be rockin!

well boys and girls its time to update my fresh finds thread, here goes!!!

first up is a schwinn town and country i picked up off CL right in my own backyard!! paid a little penny for it but i really just wanted it for the rear end!! :lol: 24inch wheels, SA 3spd out back, frame is bent though and ended up in the trash, got a mens frame bolted to it now.

next up is a matching pair of huffy cruisers i got off CL for $20 for the pair!! couldnt pass that up! there nothin special but they are likely to be chopped up and built into a burrito some day

and finally, a Giant Stilletto!!! this thing is soooo freakin radtastic! it draws so much attention everywhere i take it and gets lot of compliments on it. paid a little more than i normally do for a used bike but still, when i saw this thing in person the first time, i knew i had to have it!!

as an update on the other finds posted here, i gave away the free spirit to a friend in need, sold the metro cycle at the peddlers swap, and sold the tornado at the bug blitz this past weekend, it was hard to see it go but you shouldve seen the look on the kids face when his dad told him to go get his new bike!!! priceless

its an old murray tricycle. its in super good shape for considering its age. One of my friends had the same trike around '62 or thereabouts, but I have no clue how long they were made like that. Maybe useless, but info. nonetheless.

Nice finds! It's a shame that woman's frame was bent that bad, it was really a nice original bike. Awesome to find a good, complete and original trike setup either way though!

well to be honest, thats the only reason i bought the dang thing!!! i just wanted the rear end of it truthfully. but if it wasnt bent then yea it wouldve been a real sweet original bike to have.

well its been a busy year so far, havent picked up too many new bikes lately cuz ive been busy with the kiddo and she taking my bike funds!!! lol heres a real looker for ya. AMF Hawk 5. picked it up for $20. talk about a super sweet score!!!

anybody got a general idea of what year this thing is? i know that im not gettin rid of it anytime soon! thanks guys!

nice find. i had this hawk 3 a couple of years ago. i found it at a local thrift store. i gave it to my brother(who sold it). i thought it was a 1980, but never was %100 sure.
