A 2005 New Belgium! Been wanting a New Belgium bike ever since I first became aware of them. Found it on local CL. Never ridden. Included manual and touch up paint. Haven't got to ride it yet. Maybe tonight if it quits raining/snowing.

That's actually a really good looking "new" cruiser. 99% of the new breed of production cruisers make me go "bleggghh!!"

It looks very stout. 8)

Why ask why...But why the Red..grips...Black or Green would look good..too
Needless to say that is one cool bike...good luck with it..Jay

Jaydub... I wondered the same thing.

Roadmaster... I roughly measured it and compared to a couple of older bikes in the garage and it was about 1 inch longer than one and about half inch shorter than another.

Thanks for all the comments guys.

To the question about it looking smaller than other Electras ... It doesn't have the flat foot/foot forward/whatever technology that other Electras have. that would shorten the wheel base about 4 inches. I don't know if the Belgium bikes had that but this one doesn't for sure.

Cool bike.

these are great bikes! and besides, its new and looks old, how cool is that?! personally, i wouldnt have been able to not ride it till it dryed out, but i go throught some wicked stuff sometimes. great lines, love the color scheme and i dig the red grips.

Great bike! You're a lucky guy! I would love to add that one to the collection. One of the local liquor stores has one hanging inside with a "Do Not Touch" sign. Touch it? I want to pull it down and take it home!

I've got an '09 New Belgium Schwinn. My dad's got '06 Electra and '08 Felt New Belgiums.

I've got to ride this a couple of times now. Nice riding bike. Thanksgiving my Dad and I went riding. He on this bike. By the time we got back he noticed the headset making a terrible noise. Took it apart yesterday and not a bit of grease had ever been put in the headset and the bottom bearing cage was all mangled
