We used to rewind afx cars when I was a kid. 1 out of 3 tries worked!
But, we used bigger wire, and a shorter length, they would FLY, literally off the corners!
You could wind a motor any way you want, but with our low success rate, your going to be on a steep learning curve.

We did this one for a member a few years ago it was a cool motor it was an assist when pedaled
