Well this "thing" is basically the wild child descendant of the electric wheelchair. But in rat rod fashion I have invested a total of $5 and a half a can of spray paint into it. It was a dumpster score and the store that originally sold it refused to recognize it's existence and or "have a look at it".

I modified the banana seat and moved it as far forward as possible. Put on bigger tires. Chopped the top of the fork way down. And gave it a quick paint job.
The 1/2 of a bicycle frame is bolted on, so I might try to put some kind of small cantilever frame on here some day. Other than that it works pretty well. The belt drive is a little awkward to ride because it doesn't coast. So the throttle controls speed and braking. A pedal throttle might be better. Apparently it regenerates power from braking. You can't take your hand off the throttle without coming to a fairly quick stop.

Hot wired with a toggle switch as I never had the ignition keys.

It's still dorky but it used to look like this. Changing the height of the bars and position of the seat has made it a lot more maneuverable and it feels safer.

Overall, fun but useless aside for doing some grocery shopping. It would make a great food delivery bike.
