Elgin Prewar Curved Seat Tube

I have wanted one of the curved seat tube Elgins for a while. Got a call from a guy that I have bought from before and picked this up at lunch

Chinese springer. He couldn't find the original fork or chain, but he did still have the fender set and chainguard.

Nice bike. How long is the crank ? looks huge. Think the chain guard is a general replacement part though...

Not sure how long the crank is. It's in my stash now, not sure when I'll get back over there.
You are right about the guard. I have had these before.
