I used an original Stand as a template
Material: hot rolled steel
Size: 3/4'' x 3/8'' Channel
New material is 19.85 mm wide
Old stand is 18.35 mm Wide
Drilled to fit Factory screws ( my material is thicker than original I counter bore for screw head)

What do you think its worth?
Keep in mind material has to be purchased and shipped to me.
Sized bent/formed (not an easy process)
set up in miil for bolt holes
Counter bored
Ends dressed

I was thinking the same. I hate to say it but your business model is flawed. I mean wasn't your whole motivation for making these the fact that you balked at paying the going rate? Original drop stands are not hard to find but I agree that the retail price is surprising for what it is. But why would someone pay the same or more for a repop? I applaud your industriousness but if you really want to move these you need to find a way to undercut the market for originals.
