Just don't do any bunny hops or you'll lose that back wheel! :)

I want this direction to feature many of the characteristics of a Rat Rod automobile...what I've observed in looking at multiple images Rat Rods cars & trucks, that there are 5 key elements seen on almost every 4-wheel Rat Rod:

1. Patina & Rust
2. Low Stance
3. Wheels & Tires
4. Front Grill
5. Header Pipes

I'm going to try and use these elements as a bench mark to achieve my desire result. Of course all of this may change over the next three months?

Initially, I wasn't sold on the tank because of the light line (facing upward) So I attempted to lower it...I just added a chrome bezel for the time being. I'm not sure yet if this is the right solution? I also added a cardboard scimitar to tie together the design flow of the bike.

The one builder to watch...

Eye popping creations ,always his bikes come out like a work of art...

Good luck maybe 3 in row...;)

I spent most of the day finessing the rear. I'm going to wait before coming up with the bracket to attach to the frame. I also added a small 1895 chainring with crank arms for a 20", to help with the ground clearance. Lastly, I pounded out my seat to wrap around the top tube (it's a motorcycle seat pan).

Bicycle seat (rust color). Motorcycle (silver color).

I'll head over to storage tomorrow and pick up these Cadillac chrome fins I bought last year. I had considered using them for Remix. They could be perfect for this build???

This is my grill from my Dodge Magnum, it might work also? I no longer need them, I swapped them out in 2005 for a black set...

I found these unique pedals last year also for Remix (but they arrive too late, after the voting)...who knows they might find there way on to this build?

I like the sketch better with the grills. I wasn't feeling the spaceliner tank, but I know whatever parts end up sticking will rock.

As you know it's a process when creating, experimenting and trying out parts. The spaceliner tank could work...but it would take too much restyling to make it ACE? I'm not sure if the car grill will work yet...I took measurements and it should work?:grin:

The mockup grille certainly heads more in the direction of the listed rat rod features you listed. Previous years have lead us to expect amazement at the final result, so I would certainly trust your final feel more than mine though.
