Took the day off of work today to drive over to Fort Worth for an Estate Sale I had seen online.

It was a retired doctor's home and in the photos you could see two Schwinn lightweights parked amongst everything.

One looked like a campus green men's Collegiate and the other looked like a woman's Traveler. I ended up getting there about 10 minutes before the sale started and I missed out on the men's bike, but fortunately the woman's 1962 Traveler was still there. To use an American Picker's term...It's a honey hole of accessories.

As if the bike wasn't cool enough, there were some vintage toys and cameras that I had to scoop up...

Great score  Too bad that mens bike was gone, would have been an even better score

Can't see the pics here at work but I'm sure you did good!
The wife and I hit estate sales every weekend.
Now that she's laid off I send her on scouting missions for the sales that start on Thursday and Friday!
I know I miss out on more than I score but the hunt is still fun!

In that condition it was like it was meant to be for you to have it, If you sell that cool plate on the rear I would like a shot at it.

Nice scores!!! Everytime I see someone selling a 8mm movie camera, I ask if they still have the projector that went with it. Those can bring some serious money now if they still work. Thanks!!!

Oh crud...they had a projector too...I think they were asking $12 for it. :?

those are some cool cameras! one time I decided I was gonna collect old cameras and raided the thrift stores in my area. I got some pretty cool ones ranging from the 60's to the 80's. I've never actually tried them out yet, but since they just sit in a drawer maybe I'll have to sell them.

People started giving me old still film cameras, and I've picked up a few.

I have about $50 invested now and it took about $100 to get shelves to display them. Crazy. :D

I have a "StarFlash" like the "Startech" you picked up. It was my brothers when we were kids.

Cool macro lens adapters + box.

Sweet find indeed! I always assumed those shifters said 1, 2, 3. I had no idea they said Lo, Med, and Hi. I gotta get one of them!
By the way, that's an "okay" looking Ft Worth license plate but wouldn't you rather trade it to me for one of those super rare Hawaii ones you see on EBay every so often?
