Took the day off of work today to drive over to Fort Worth for an Estate Sale I had seen online.
It was a retired doctor's home and in the photos you could see two Schwinn lightweights parked amongst everything.
One looked like a campus green men's Collegiate and the other looked like a woman's Traveler. I ended up getting there about 10 minutes before the sale started and I missed out on the men's bike, but fortunately the woman's 1962 Traveler was still there. To use an American Picker's term...It's a honey hole of accessories.
As if the bike wasn't cool enough, there were some vintage toys and cameras that I had to scoop up...
All in all it turned out to be a good day for pickin'.
