a friend found this over his hill.. not real sure about what he has.. most of my Hawthornes are .. well not like this one lol

has a Sturmey Archer 3 Speed, and all parts on the entire bike seem not to be frozen

just looking to figure out what it is, and what he should do with it.. thought I'd let the experts school me on this one

Looks like it came out of a lake :mrgreen: I believe it was made by hercules in England and then re-badged hawthorne. I do like the frame style.
 
checked out some Hercules bikes, and I think you are correct on that..

think he should part this out, or sell it as is?
he has no interest in fixing it up, and i haven't a clue when it comes to bike with cranks like this.. and from a quick peek around parts aren't to easy to find

Now that you mention it it does look like my Hercules.
