Ever just put a find into a box?

I got this bike and the more I look at it the more I'm thinking that I just want to pack it up into box and hide it away. Maybe some for some distant relative to find or an archeologist. Anyone else ever have these thoughts or do it?

I don't think I have.

Mind you, I do have stuff that has sat in boxes for years unintentionally, but not purposefully.

i didn't go through putting it in a box, but i have one i left in the box when i got a good deal on two. an occ clone, "big mo" (anyone remember that sportsman whatever type place blowing them out?). i can't say there's anything really special about it, but i don't need it to ride, the initial investment was low, and it might gain some value later to someone. wish i could have done the same when big lots sold out the occ's, but i didn't have any extra cash at the time.

I am space-constrained. They take up less space broken down and boxed. So yes, more than half of my bikes are broken down, boxed, and even stacked. :shock:
