Felt Deep 6

I need a little help to make a Felt Deep 6 into a
Felt Hot Wheels 68, disc brakes, internal 3
speed, triple tree front end, hubs and hot
wheels seat. Any help would be grateful,

No, nobody is selling this bike, so I am thinking about building one, use a Felt Deep 6 and convert to look like a Felt Hot Wheel 68, close as possible.

My LBS gave me a quote on one, but I didnt actually order it. They say they can get all the current models, but proof is in the gettin', aint it.
I think they kinda missed the boat by not making it a 3 speed and with at least one disc, if not a hub brake, too. With those lines a girder front would look better, though a telescoping front wouldnt be entirely 'out of the style' (or the stated design motivation in the ad copy). Maybe next year.
I have yet to see a front on view to see the headlight treatment; but Im loving the profile!

Try Jay at Mode bikes. He built my Autum Minion and seems to be a bit of a specialist on Felt bikes.

On one of the pics on his site it shows some seats and one of them looks like the same seat as the Hot Wheels. I have seen some of his custom bikes with the same front end as a Hot Wheels and also some other bits, so I would give him a go. I think he is based in Costa Mesa, CA.

Good luck and if it works out let me know as I am going to try and convert another Felt into a similaR style bike to the 68 as well.

Mode bikes does look a cool place to hang out doesnt it, hang outside the Airstream, have a coffee and enjoy some sun and the bikes. Its like my dream bike shop, nothing like that here in the UK
