thought i'd share this - I had a real hard time finding a flat brace front fender with a ridge in it for my Shapleigh Wonder bike. I traded an old set CCR had but they ended up being too thin and to small actually for this bikes rims and tires, so I took an old croquet ball and rolled the front one out wider, it also straightened up the edges and did a real good job! Unfortunately when you make the fender wider, it makes the radius smaller so I had to snip off the end a little to clear the tire (sorry CCR, I had to). I won't need long braces cuz it's shorter, and I put a brace up under the fork to keep it from twisting/moving.
Anyways, as soon as I get these painted and put on I'l post pics of the quicky rat restore of this bike. Just sharing, cheers, T.
Rolled it out wide & smooth...
Made it about an inch wider!
