Great time to paint - no bugs!

Thanks, I'll try the wire wheel method!I agree. The Hampton gives you more room to put a wider knobby up front and is forward axle to add an inch of wheel base for stability on the trail.
A quick sand (after sticker removal) and some black engine paint for durability and it will match the build perfectly.
Edit: use a wire wheel on the grinder for sticker removal if you plan to paint it.
Thanks, The fork was the best bit from the ladies Hampton Cruiser I scrapped.Agree on Hampton. You can use a caliper brake on it if you want one. It has the look.![]()
Me too!I think his FSA 36t chainwheel looks cool.

Thanks Captain! Found this at a swap a few years ago - I thought it looks like ninja throwing star....Me too!
If you ever want to part with it let me know!
I used to work in an aluminum foil plant. That picture gives me flashbacks! Some notes. Frame weighs 7.6 lbs - seems light to me. Preliminary gearing with stock Shimano CB-E110 coaster brake (20t) and FSA chainring (36t). = 42 gear inches.

I was told bike was used in a local papermill for years.
I like that look. Maybe not so good in the rain. But the look is goodI don't think these are going to stay on this bike, but I wanted to see what the GT Smoothie tires look like on the stocker Ross wheels. Chrome cleaned up really good.
