Re: Grande Fiesta

my girlfriend has been on me to build her a custom, this one will be painted nice, not sure on the blue/white I might go with the white/pink colors

Re: Grande Fiesta

Cool idea. You know just a suggestion , but I have found stretching built frames is a lot easier to use some thick 1'' pipe and weld it to the
BB instead of trying to lengthen those two tubes. Its stronger, and easier to make a good connection in front of the tire on the chain stays.
Maybe run them along the side of the single tube and then a flat plate on top and bottom. Makes for a really strong transition. It gives you
a lot of weld area.

Re: Grande Fiesta

Hey Uncle, could you post a pic? Cause my Technical English is not that good yet and I don´t quite understand the hole of what your saying.
I´ll probably try to stretch La Rotosa a lil bit, so this would be of great help.

Great build Hooch, keep it up!

Re: Grande Fiesta

Sorry a crude drawing. I don't have one to take a picture of. This would be a top view. The plate will be the dotted part. Weld where you can and add some body filler to smooth out.

Not trying to divert your thread Hooch just want to show you some local stretched ladies bikes. These are all ridden by men. Maybe give you ideas or inspiration. I like the way you've got yours photoshopped though keeping the original look.
