Why did you boys/girls with zero votes resist voting for your own bikes? I mean, there are a couple bikes in there I considered for a top 3 vote. If I considered them you certainly deserved to vote for your own ride.

BTW, I know there were a few sour apples, but the bikes completed were amazing. There were some unbelievable builds. I'm anxious to throw my hat in the ring next time around. And, yes, I'll probably throw myself a vote as long as my bike isn't embarrassing. I just always thought that's what was the proper thing to do, lol.

Congrats B!! Congrats to all Ratters and Slackers. I applaud you all.

I have no issue with one voting for oneself,in fact I think a job well done deserves a self vote. But regardless of how hokey we might think our own build is,it can still speak for itself.

Congrats to kingfish254 such a fantastic bike. It's about time you grabbed a 1st place, you have worked hard on each and everyone of yr builds. This year the perfection oozed out of Verboten. :41::41::41:
It's also the year I will remember Imelda Marcos joined the Build-off.

Fordsnake- Another wonderful ride. For the last 4 years you have been placing in the top 3,that is a huge accomplishment just there.:113::41:

Waldo Jeffers- I didn't understand what the fuss was about,I thought you restored a old bluebird, spit n polished her up.So I went back and had another gawk, and understood you built the frame from scratch.:43::13: I think you accomplished recreating a original blast from the past.
If you cant find, or afford one, build it!!!:41:

Too every other builder who entered the comp...:41::41::41:

You all get to ride away in the sunset, with a smile of satisfaction.:praise:

Is it just me or am I reminded of "straight outta compton" Maybe it's just because I saw the movie trailer.
Anyway, Jake if I get to Philly next summer and you still have DaBlabbermouth. I wanna go for a cruise.

Really? I've always assumed a gentlman's agreement that no one votes for their own. Maybe I read that wrong.

I don't think there's a rule against it,I mean if we can use all 3 votes on one bike then why not self vote.
Don't get me wrong,I didn't vote for my own. But I kinda lost interest when the steam engine idea I had in my head fell through. Which reminds me.
I have to give props to SoulGarageOH, if you hadn't mentioned two bikes in one Artemus would still be in pieces in my garage.

congratz to the winner, king, and all the finishers are winners! I don't vote for myself simply because I know how I feel about my builds. I like to see if anyone else likes them also.

I remember the first year I entered,I thought it would be sad if I didn't get a vote,so I voted on myself.Then I went to give my 2nd and 3rd choice and I couldn't.
So I felt like a right tw*t and was disappointed that I couldn't submit the last 2...Now I have the hang of it...
I think some people are embarrassed to say they vote for themselves.
I'm not.I wish I could vote for myself 3 times.:DJust jokin guys:rolleyes:
