...but a women's frame. Nonetheless, my first bike with an actual springer front fork. Nice patina and it should clean up nicely.
Found it on CL. Asking price was $100. It was on for over a week and was still available when I contacted the seller. Went today and bought for half the asking price. Don't think that I did too bad. The bike should be worth more in parts....!
Now if I could only find a correct men's frame...
Any idea if a tank is available for this frame? Also, the year..???
Thanks.
New stuff 3/29
I got two tanks from Crassly. One of the tanks received looked like it was separated at birth from the bike. The colors and patina match the bike perfectly! Looks like the tank has been on the bike since day one. Also added some old Carlisle 26x2.125 tires, new tubes, used basket and a rear wheel mounted kickstand. Just need to clean the chrome, regreased the bearings and clean out/grease the coaster brake. Will also replace the existing horn assembly with a repro piece for functionality.
Kickstand appears to be a Monark?? I'm just assuming because of the "M" logo on it.
Tires are cracked, but will see how long they'll last. Bike won't get ridden much.
The "new" tank matches the existing patina perfectly!
The basket defeats the purpose of the springer front fork, but I like the way the basket looks on the bike.
What can be told about the bike from these numbers?
