I went back to check on a bike I had posted about previously. It's a Flight Liner thats missing it's tank but it's still cool:

Well....when I got there, he told me he had dug out the rest of the old bikes he had. Here's what I'm looking at:

Huffy Muscle Bike--unknown year or model;

I'm not into muscle bikes, but that one looks cool with the lettered tires!

I just wish they were in better shape. Its owned by the original owner and he says its all orig w/ whats still there. He took the chainguard off a long time ago and doesnt know where it is. But I like it and hope to find out more about it and the others in the bunch.

That Flightliner will make a great rider, I don't have the chaingaurd or tank or anything for mine but I really like it. Nice finds.

I agree with you both. I wish the Flight Liner had the tank but oh well. The loose wheels & tires in other pics belong to it. It'll be a cool cruiser someday. I like the chainguard the best.

The Higgins is too cool! The rear wheel & spokes are in bad shape but I think I can find something that works. I liked the Huffy Muscle bike until I saw the Higgins.......then everything changed...... 8) 8)

What a find :D ....nothing and I mean nothing like that ever crops up around here.

The same owner contacted me to tell me he had "found" another bike while cleaning out a shed. Its a Huffy Ultima Grand Champion 10 speed. I can't find much about it online... :?:

The Muscle bike is a Huffy dragster.

Your Huffy is a 71 or 72 Cheater Slick. It had the regular guard not the flaming stack kind most likely. They started using BMA stickers on the seat post in 71. It also has the reflective tape on the forks.

I can't see the joint below the seat on your Higgins, but it looks like the same frame as my Hot Rod Higgins from the build off. Mine is a '51 I've been told. I'm hoping to find another Higgins frame at one of the fall swap meets.
