Rat Rod , the website owner and admin, has put the threads up for the Finished Builds. Since we have a number of new builders this time around, here are some points to keep in mind as you enter your builds into this final phase of the build off.
1. Your first photo at the top of your thread will be the Final Photo that is used for judging, once the build off is over. You are encouraged to add other photos, of the original state of the bike, build process steps, etc. But that first one that you see at the top of your posted Finished Build thread is the all-important one.
2. Many of the viewers of the Finished Builds are looking at your bike build for the very first time. They will be getting emails alerting them to 'go to the RRB website' to see what we've been up to. It's a good idea to give a little history of your build, again post photos with a short description of the process, and especially highlight your favorite custom part / process that you used.
3. The Finished Builds have two threads, just like our separate build classes. The Class One build thread is for the Muscle Bike Build Off bikes. The Class Two thread is for the Winter Build Off bikes. This might be redundant info, but I'm a firm believer in that you can never communicate too much information.
4. This is the last stage of the build off. If you miss the deadline for posting in the Finished Builds thread, there is no retribution. You must at least have a thread created with one Final Photo in it in order to be in the Voting Poll.
Have a great last few weeks as we roll towards the 'Finished line' !
