No secret that I am a fan of Firestone bikes. We have a "Show me your Monark/Firestone Supercruiser" thread, but nothing devoted to other Firestones. If my memory serves me correct, Huffman, Murray, Snyder, CWC and Colson all made bikes for Firestone. I think it would be cool to see all the varations that RRBers have in their collections. Post 'em if you got 'em!

I have one, but its been through heck and back. I know it was made by Monark. Not sure of the year or anything. The front fork got bent and I am motorizing it. Its original colour was a very beautiful metallic red. I'll a post a pictue of before and after the moped fork. I wish it was in better shape though.

The vagabond is a fun little bike. I will be honest I put that bike through heck and back treating it like a BMX. I saw an old 1950's CITY OF THE FUTURE black and white info reel about how modern day cities will have smaller stuff. They showed a business man parking his finned beast. Pulling this out of the trunk then placing it together and riding to his office and bringing it into the elevator and up to his desk and storing it in his office. Yeah... people must have been stronger in offices during the 50s because this guy is bulky. Fun as heck though and pretty fast.

Just got this the other day. I’m guessing at the latest it’s a 60’s(ish?) It’s a Speed Cruiser. Not sure of the make, but I’d guess Murray(?). Not a lot of info on this one, but it’ll be fun to re-do. If anyone knows more than I please feel free to share….🤔

Oh and the faux tank is just a mock up of sorts…😁

Looks Huffy.

Serial number should start with an H# or #H...the number being the last number of the year. Decade determined by equipment/graphics.
I do believe you are correct sir. As of last night I read up on the history of those bicycles and oddly enough Murray never came up as being affiliated with Firestone. I’ll post the article
https://vintageamericanbicycles.com/index.php/company-histories/

Also I’ve looked in the usual places that a serial number’s supposed to be (head tube, bottom bracket, and dropouts) and I’ve yet to locate a serial number. Although I will say this, I put it next to a Murray and there were a few subtle differences. I could attribute that to the bikes being decades apart, but to me there were too many variations between the two to say that they were from the same manufacturer. Considering how many companies Murray has collaborated with I suppose that’s why I would have initially thought that.
