Alright here she is. Almost done. I would like to either recover or buy a white seat and I want to get some different pedals as those are cheap-butt huffy items, but its ridable. Not bad for my first bike build, i do say.
The metalflake trick I was working on turned out "ok" for this bike. The red was originally a lot darker out of the can but when I sprayed the glitterflake over it the aerosol thats in the glitterflake paint lightened the color of the whole bike. :x Oh well. My blue fork I painted looks a lot better, maybe I should have kept it blue like I was going to do.
I didn't realize how massively bent the rear rim is. Or how bad my trueing skilz are??? Any help?? If it is bent and not that the wheel needs to be trued, anyone have a 24" rim or whole wheel they wanna sell????? Heres the pics....
