So I just acquired 2 kids bikes and know jack about them.

Any info would be great.

First is this girls Firestone bike.

Its missing its head badge & been repainted but where the repaint is popping off the chain guard you can see Firestone and the shield with F in it.
Haven't been able to locate a serial # on this yet.
It has a PERRY B-100 england rear coaster hub.
The seat post is a wedge style (like a stem) and it has high peak fenders.

Trying to figure out manufactured it & year (value too if possible).

Next up is this Huffy built muscle bike.

From the serial # I'm guessing its 1981 but I can't find any info on this bike.

It has this on the head tube

And a nice BMA/6 sticker on the seat tube.

Has a BENDIX 70 mexico coaster hub.

Any info on this would be great as searching for Sunfire got me no place.

Still no clue on the Firestone but I did find a couple 1974-76 huffy ads that the bikes look almost identical to this one; the Red Hot even had the same seat.

The muscle bike was made for and sold by the Coast to Coast hardware stores. That Marquis head badge sticker in my avatar is from a 1980's Huffy manufactured Coast to Coast 3 speed light weight. I'm not sure but I thought it had been said on here that those BMA stickers are typically 70's.

Thanks.

I did find something about the BMA stickers starting around 72 or 73 then died off someplace in the early 80s but didn't see a solid year range.

The reason I guessed 81 for year (which seems way off) is the serial on the head tube starts off HC781.
I know nobody has a straight answer on these numbers but the more huffy built bikes I look at its starting to seem as if maybe that first # is the last digit of the year (in this case 1977 maybe).

The 'stone is AMF built, late 50s=early 60s. BMA/6 went from 1971-79. -Adam
Cool thanks.

I'm guessing the Firestone was older as it should have had a rivited on head badge (rivits are still there).

Been digging with the info you gave and finding its most likely 58-61.
Thanks again.

This little beast is going up for sale.

The Sunfire will probably go up for sale after I do a little more cleaning on it.
