Firestone - Year, wrong parts and ????

Trying to buy this guy.

The seat is wrong and maybe the handle bars.

The frame is a CWC I am guessing. Sprocket and chain guard look wrong.

Why do the rack support rods flare out at the bottom?

Bad house paint job. What is the best way to get over spray off of the tin head badge?

Looks to have been assembled with pieces laying around the ol' barn. Frame is 50s HP Snyder, chainring is CWC, guard is universal, the rack struts are on upside down; they should match the bump of the truss rods, but those are early 50s CWC as well. I don't recognize the carrier, but the struts are not original to it either. Which Firestone badge is on it?

At any rate, it's a Frankenbike, with bits of lost souls all given life by way of lightning.
