I guess it's Dutch:
What comes to mind when you think of Holland?
Cheese ... flat land ... Dope ... BIKES!
The latter is also equal to the appropriate topic on which I would like to report something.
The well-known Dutch bike is by now common than dog poop on the sidewalks. If you look in the cycle of a local high school, then you see it ... by the hundreds, all the same. In my mind, the worst thing that Holland has done to the bike market. But one tries to change this Jan Gunneweg. He is an industrial designer and has only wood in the head ... so in a figurative sense, as he builds his bikes made of wood.
"Wood Bikes" some of you will say "that's old hat tion ... the first wheel was made of wood ... the worm has eaten everything" Yeah, okay ... but this bike has something. It looks simple and beautiful noble. In over 200 hours of pure handwork such a wheel, which is probably also the reason why the builder does not mention a price arises. 95% is the bike from Timberwood, even the asymmetric rims are made of this natural material.
Then let's hope that the woodworm mutated to nem bike freak, and quenches his hunger continues to grandma's dresser. Finally some nice pictures:
