Spring on the nose of the seat is different, cool lookin seat though.

Ya the one with three vertical springs seems like it would backward and forward without an anchor point.

I bet you can just add the front spring from something else to make it look like either picture. I do know you can remove the front spring entirely. Cheaper price than here but here are some more pics/info

quick note- I wrote them to ask about the seat and they wrote back saying that they have since changed the photos to avoid confusion. It is a hairpin style front spring. 8)
