Flashback Stingray

At the beginning of 2013 I built a charcoal ‘70 stingray for a 3 way stingray build off on this site.

Sold it years ago but missed it ever since. Picked up this ‘80 to build up raked up like my past one. It was pink tho...

Went ahead and primed it and mocked some parts up.

Gotta get a thin front tire for it.

Probably going to Schwinn Sky Blue if I can figure that out

Couldn’t get my hands on a kickstand so I switched frames to a ‘20

Same set of apes and tall sissy bar.

sealed.

Coated in a same paint code of Ford J7, decided to keep the 125th logo.

eBay graphics installed a cleared! May decide on a springer instead of a raked out 27in fork.

if anyone’s got a huffy mag sprocket let me know! It’s the last missing part

Springer came in now for seat and grips!

Almost in the same spot as the picture of the ‘70. Good 2013 vibes before the world was crazy.

Traded off the some parts for this snowball and a bag of parts for it.

How this benefits the J7 Special( the flashback ‘Rey’s new name) is that this buzz bike had the sprocket I’ve been looking for!

The final part of the puzzle! But now I have another bike to build…
