Guess I shouldn't be shocked any more on the prices people put on bikes at flea markets and antique shows but stopped by one today looking for anything that I might want to use on a build. As Im going down the tables I see a woman's schwinn mid weight cruiser with rotten tires and a steel wooled paint job. The guy had it marked for a $100 and was firm on the price.

Ran into a 60s womens liner? Any way it had a rat trap fork and i had to ask, how much?
$200.00 firm cause it'd been recently sherwin williams restored.Yes they silver painted the fork.

That's reality tv at work it drives me nuts these people have no idea what is what but they saw it over priced on tv

I have a hard time now finding bikes.
Used to find so many bikes in the metal bin at the dump, that I would have to leave some behind.

Bikes that were $50- $60 bucks on Craigslist several years ago, people are now asking ridiculous amounts of money for.
