I was thinking I was going to get stuck holding onto the last three bikes Ive fixed up to flip till spring, Then I had a friend come over so I could replace some tubes in his kids bikes. While I was replacing the tubes he asked if I had any 20 inch bikes for sale and I told him not right now since I had pretty much wrapped things up for the season. But I showed him the 3 26 inch bikes I had and he ended up buying a 26 inch schwinn mtn bike I had got in a while back. Guess you never know when your flipping season is over. Seeing the look on the kids face as he hopped on his new bike and headed off home reminded me why I sale bikes at the prices I do.

Very true, I had a guy stop by this morning for a brake cable that he could use as a throttle cable on his minibike and I ended up selling him a complete bike with the cable attached to it.

Mine ends in Aug and starts back up the first of February. So I'm sitting on 15 bikes right now. I'll try to have 30 or more done by then so I have a great selection to start.

I've gave one away for a teacher to give to a student who's family couldn't afford one for him, it will be his Christmas present and it looked nice. I have a few more I'm working on to give to the Angel's Closet that will place them with kids at Christmas.

Flipping? Yeah, that's when I have another bike on the stand and just turn the bike over to change a tube.

Yoothgeye your blessed to be able to to do that, selling the bike I did was actually a blessing for me. I was needing the extra to cover mounting and balancing of tires for the wifes van.

I have been able to sell some when I've needed money, but it is usually out of the area.

I have a few I am going to fix up (BMX bikes) and try to sell in the next 6 months and give the money to our building fund at church. We are starting a 1.3 million dollar project that will turn our existing fellowship hall into a smaller banquet room and 7 new classrooms and adding a gym with 2 new classrooms. We need the classroom space and the gym will compliment our growing children and youth programs. The 2 classrooms off of the gym will be mine! Can't wait for the youth to have a space of their own.

Kind of doubting I can get 1.3 million for a few Haro bikes, but every bit helps.
