I like it better than the stock pie crust guard.

To be honest, I have never cared for the pie crust guards. Even if I had one for this bike, I would sell it rather than use it.

One has to admit, that zeppelin guard fits right in with the flow of this bike.

That is what I thought time I saw it on Tyler's Colson. I was excited when he offered it up for sale.

I could also use this guard that came off of the Silver King that I had.

Easy Imelda... just back away from the bike... the zeppelin guard is awesome!

All jokes aside, that really does go perfectly with that frame!

LOL, I agree about the zep guard, just posted the the other guard to remind me when I get ready to actually build this one out.

man this frame is amazing !!

i wonder if it is reliable/strong :39:
to my knowledge aluminum and steal mixed together is far form ideal

You definitely don't want to build a Klunker out of it. But for the easy city cruising that I do, it will be fine.

One of the factors that helped me buy this frame with confidence is how well the repairs were documented. It looks like somehow the repair thread on this is now missing a bulk of the work description and photos. No worries. If anyone wants to see the detailed work that went into this you can view these PDFs of the how the thread originally looked as recently as the beginning of Build Off 11. It really adds a lot of insight into how these frames were built.
