Seeing as I've gotten back into building bikes, I've started asking people for old bikes to rebuild/strip for parts. I scored 4 in one week!!!

Two hideous MTB bikes, a 24" and a 26" with a taco'ed rear wheel. I stripped them both, the 24" looks good enough to rebuild. I'll probably convert the 26" fork into a truing stand. LOL.

Next up: a Wal-mart cruiser I bought for my dad years ago. He gave it to someone, who used it for a few weeks, and left it to rot outside for a few years. We asked for it back, and here it is! 6-speed rear derailer, it's all there, tires hold air.

Last up (saving the best for last) an old Roadmaster, probably 1970's material. Single speed with a coaster brake, and 26x1-1/4" rims.

And thus it begins!!

nice finds. i like the 6speed cruiser and the roadmaster, personally. i kinda put the word out like that and thats how i get most bikes or bartering for me fixing the bikes that they want to keep or that are easiest to fix.
