Somebody on the Schwinn board mentioned him once. Seems to have nice bikes. Lots go for fair prices and his shipping seems reasonable.

It's the shear quantity that boggles the mind.

This is obviously a full-time gig for this guy.

Ever since I got into this stuff he has always had 30-40 bikes running on Ebay at any given time.

And most of them are in awesome shape.

,

Maybe he is like Hooch, the only bike guy for miles around.

he seems to have an endless supply of fairly clean bikes for sale,on ebay every week! 10 or more, every week, for the last year, adds up !

i heard once he has buyers and relies on selling many bikes at low profits but he seems to do real well for himself and he must have a lot better luck with shipping companies than me! 2 out of the last 3 I shipped got destroyed
just imagine if he collects bikes what he has stashed away?

im pretty sure there is some ebay seller success story on the web about this guy with pics and how he got started and so forth

I think Hooch is feeding him bikes to sell. I have never come up with two old really nice Schwinns at once.

"deliver a whole load personally to your front door" means I will bring them down in my truck!

The bike seller has a time machine. He just goes back to the 60's or 70's every day and picks up a few. B607

i got to thinkin, maybe its just a front, he may actually be taking a hit in ebay sales, but the income he makes off his "how to get rich on ebay" videos are making him dirty stinking rich

Yeah check and see how many of the bikes are relisted because they don't sell. I would guess he does alright but I see bikes on ebay like a pretty nice men's Schwinn Varsity selling for $11. I can't believe he is getting a lot of sales or at top prices right now.

If you look at a map he's centrally located by several good sized towns and some smaller rural ones. He probably does a lot of driving. The other guess is he has friends or family that buys and holds onto the bikes in other cities until he can swing by and pick them up. But man, however it's done, the guy sells a lot of bikes.

From what I've seen in Wisconsin, it might be a big Harley Davidson state, but when it comes to bikes the majority of people are interested in road bikes and commuters. He could just be the apex predator at the top of the food chain, with no competition for this style of bike.

I don't know anything more about this seller, other than he is really great, and is a nice guy. Anything I've bought from him (I've bought several bikes) was VERY well packed, shipped very fast, and he is always really pleasant in answering questions on eBAy. I've seen him do very well on bikes- he had a rare, early 3 speed black phantom that brought $1000+ half a year ago.

or an infomercial late at night on TV with him on a boat in Florida surrounded by babes trying to sell his "Easy 10 step to riches by selling bikes on Ebay" program. Operators are standing by! :)
