Hi guys,

I'll be joining this years ORBO with a klunker or a bomber, that i'll decide later on in the build off.

I'm starting with a Electra Jester i traded some time ago for a handle bar and a rear rack (what a fool..).

Since a Jester is also called a fool, and this bike will have no suspension what so ever. I came up with the name Fool Suspension.

The frame will need some modification. Disc brake tabs need to be added, i have these adapter but i think they cant handle the stopping power of the brakes. Also thinking of flipping the seat stays upside down to get a better flowing frame.

Parts list:
Jester frame (of course, ditch the springer).
Rigid fork (trying to get a deal on a carbon fork).
Enviolo hub rear.
Deore hub front.
Stainless steel spokes
Hydraulic disc brakes. (Tektro Auriga).
160 mm discs. (Magura MDR).
Probably a BMX style handlebar.
Tires ( a lot to choose from 😅).
Alloy rims ( thought they were steel But they're not).
Bmx front sprocket.
Kmc E101 chain

Frankie, that may be one of the coolest off-road build names ever! I'm still laughing! :21:

That NuVinci styled hub with the Continuously Variable Transmission is really cool. I've always wanted to try one on a build. I will be watching your build with much interest!

RaT oN~!

It is a Nuvinci hub, bit the company got taken over by Enviolo😉
Thanks for watching!

Three days remaining! Finished threads are up!
Sorry can't finish this bike right now..
Couldn't find the time to build it. Still figuring out how to get the 1 1/8 fork in the 1 inch frame. Best solution is to weld a new head tube in. Found one, but haven't bought it yet. I will finish it later this year, i promise!
Thanks for the heads up and the likes @RustyGold
