A few new apes to add to the club....

my granddaughter wanted to see Ariel mounted on a bike

picked up these fenders at a yard sale with 2 more sets, the bars and 2 chain guards. They really change the appearance of the ole Free Spirit 10

this was an All Pro 3 speed converted to a 5 speed

this is my wife's next project.."Slinky"

Had an Apehanger on my KK SlickDaddy this summer.
Picture taken alongside the beach in Scheveningen, Netherlands.

This one taken on the same day halfway between The Hague and Delft,

I dont always use the Ape though, here in the Netherlands the winds can be fairly strong during fall and winter, making it pretty hard to cycle up against the wind whith your arms spread out like that.
My bomberjacket starts acting like a parachute then :mrgreen:

Actually they are really stiff, I used fairly heavy wall tubing and left the top bar welded in on the bmx bars I used at the top, so that helps. The tubing I used is known as 15mm medium wall pipe here in Australia, measures out at 22mm outside with a 2.5mm wall thickness... It would be cool on your bike, but you might have to change to a bmx style stem to get them to fit...
