I have an old huffy 26" and I really like the rat bike look. My question is how can I bend the front forks out and know how far I can bend before I go too low. I saw a picture like that somewhere and thought it was neat. Thanx for any info. I appreciate it.
Eddy :)

Thanx cman. I can see a bender in my future. I also liked the jig another member posted. I was wondering about that. Thanx again. :D

Kota is the master fork bender. Check this thread viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9254

Well Thank you!

I just went back and checked that thread. Some new ideas, wooden jig etc. I suggest that you read the thread entirely (twice). All the problems you can run into are addressed there.....Even if you do an absolutely PERFECT bend, which I hope happens, the most common problem would be: People don't bend the fork with the tire they plan on using, and when they put the tire they want on, it may not fit.....GOOD LUCK!
