Found this in front of a neighbors. Any ideas on Id other that Raleigh Twenty? And value? I have read that the year should be stamped on the rear hub but I am unable to see any numbers. Any other ways to determine year?

On an SA 3-speed hub the date the hub was made is stamped on the hub shell but it is only the 2 last digits... 1972= 72. That will approximate the year your bike was made. They have been selling on Ebay $200 and more. I had one in 1975- great little bike.....Felix C.

Looks in good shape, and you have the pump too. The digits on the hub are tiny, so clean it up well to see them. It'll probably have the month in 2 digits also with a big space between. example: 11 71 would be November 1971.

Nice and complete 20. Cool that it has the pump too. I have one in green like that and I paid $75 a few years back and felt I got a good deal. Google around and you will see some cool things being done with 20s (especially over in the Folding section of bikeforums.net). They are a little heavy, but they a very stable and classic platform to ride and customize. Not truly very foldable, but a super compact bike.

As far as value, I just took a look at the sold ones on ebay and the range is $200-500. Hmmmmm, I may have to dust mine off and send it to the bay. :)

Found the numbers while cleaning it. I took it all apart except the crank, spokes and rear hub. Looks like it is an April 1972. Bike cleaned up very well and with a little grease it is a neat little bike. So far I have ridden it once. The bike is a little small for me but should be a neat ride for some of my smaller "house guests" I will post pictures soon of it now that it is all cleaned up.

I bet if you adjust the handlebars to lean forward and slide the seat back it will fit you fine. I am 5'10" and I felt right at home riding my Twenty. But I was also used to riding 20" newer Dahon folders too.
