Wow. Usually, when we think of a hub motor. we are thinking electric hub motor. That engine is 500cc?
Very cool! Similar engine arrangement as some old aircraft radial engines where the cylinders revolve around a stationary crank.
Only issue I can see is coming to a stop at traffic lights or something, pretty sure there is no way to dis-engage the drive from the wheel, so to fully stop you would have to switch the motor off and scoot forward by foot to restart?

Yeah stoping would be the major problem. Maybe some kind of large centrifical clutch around the engine would work but that's a lot of time,money,and know how to have something different. But it would be one of the coolest bikes around.
