Here's the wheel and tire combo that's going on this beast...

Should look nice parked next to it's ugly older cousin when it's done.

Re: FOXY MOXIE

I basically bought this frame specifically for the wheel set above. :)

To me it's about as close as you can get to looking like a real dirt bike.

Re: FOXY MOXIE

Unstamped run anywhere from $40-$75.

Stamped run anywhere from $75 - $150.

It all depends who's selling them.

Re: FOXY MOXIE

holy cow, I haven't seen an Ashtabula fork in darn near forever. I was even thinking about them a couple of weeks ago and wondering if there were still any around. And you are correct Steve, they were always left natural.

Those rims are AWESOME!!! I had a set back in the day, basically indestructable! Though I do recall finding a bent one on trash day, we did have some hardcore jumpers in my hood! -Adam

Steve, that is really cool! Came out awesome!

But I have to wonder if the Moxie soda company sued them or if they even knew about it.

That's a good question.

I know LRV only made bikes for 4 or 5 years. They started off with the Matthews name and then shifted over to using the LRV badge in 76.
