A guy at work this morning showed me a facebook post with a pic of some bikes in a field and a sign that read free bikes.
Not much but walmart junk, but I took one.

Free banana seat and bar... sure.

Also pulled this old Brooks out of a box.

Two questions on this.
How do I determine the model? And
Anyone know a good leather conditioner?

Use Lexol - it's what we use on saddles and it's awesome. Work it in with your hands and let it sit. You'll need to reapply several times in betting. Awesome find!

Yea, it'll take a while. It's like the desert floor.

Do

U have a link to a better image of that brooks chart..

Also if you give up on the brooks, i need hardwear nose and tensioner..

Shi oot, I'm S.O.L on finding a better image, but I suspect an answer will arrive soon.
Spring style will help I.D. smooth or twisted, etc.
I should have just sat on my hands instead of piping in on this.
The price was right and it's always worth a try to revive an old Brooks. Good Luck, cool saddle.

I'll try to revive it first.

Of course bro and best of luck honestly maybe bag it slathered up .. i think youll pull off a ridable rat seat...
And late for dinner no worries dude.. youd think brooks would have an easy access catilog thanks for the try

I like to start with dawn & water & a soft brush. You know it's been wet before, so don't be afraid to soak it. I like to wrap the wet seat in an old tube as it dries to bring the bottom edges down.
