It is amazing what happens when you walk up to a house with a bicycle on the side and ask what they are doing with it. Even more amazing when they say they are getting ready to throw it away.

Grant it was a Huffy girls bike but it has a lot of good parts on it.

I have actually had it for a few weeks, the wheels are what I used on the second rust bucket with the ape hangers. I am just REALLY slow at uploading pics so I am playing catch up. Only thing that is bad about those truss bars is out of all the bikes I have they will only fit that bike, same goes for some bars I bought off of ebay to put on that Columbia.
Luckily the ones off of ebay are solid metal so I am going to cut them down a inch or two so they will fit. As for the Huffy I will probably use the head tube for when I get brave enough to build my own frame and then I can use the bars on it.

PS there was a Ant bed living inside the handle bars.
 
You have a schwinn crank, pedals and sprocket on there too. Good job!
