Fresh find at the Banzai Pipeline while I'm here in Hawaii!

I have a few days left of my Hawaiian vacation. While at the North Shore, home of the Banzai Pipeline. I noticed this very forlorned Stingray at the bike rack area!

Just a few feet away was this!

my wife and I were there in January , Sunset beach and Waimea Bay(huge shore break) , there is a bit of a bike path along the beach , saw a lot of cruiser bikes

The contrast of those two photos reminds me of the scene from the Steve Martin movie "The Jerk" where his Dad is explaining the difference between sha-na-na and shinola.
