This is kind of funny...

About a year ago I ordered some Felt tires from a place in California and they shipped them to me like this...

Last week I ordered a couple of tires off of Amazon and my wife called yesterday and said that the UPS man had dropped off two big bike boxes. I'm thinking...bike boxes? :? I said...are the boxes heavy? She says...no, they are really light and are from Amazon.

I get home and find that Amazon shipped these 26" x 1.50" tires each in their own separate GIANT box.

That's right....each tire was in one of these boxes.

I'm not really complaining since they are great boxes for shipping frames, but it is pretty funny that they did it this way.

Talk about from one extreme to the other!

i look at like that too...boxes to ship frames...and a clean set of white wall no scuffs..... 8) looks like i need to hit amazon up..... nice tiers BTW

I ordered a set of Nirve Bad Tail 26" whitewalls off of Amazon (filled through Nirve I'm sure) last year and they came in large flattened boxes, taped up on each end, the bonus surprise was that the tires came with tubes and that was not advertised ANYWHERE!
