Huffy Rocket 12" strider/balance bike conversion.

Missing 2 balls from the head set, 1 from the front hub but no sign this bike has ever been apart. 2016 model year. FYI, the Huffy EZ Build bikes came out in 2019 and are much worse construction. Headset & hubs repacked. Clutch brake arm and brake shoes deleted from the rear hub. Rear axle protrusions cut off. The torn seat cover had lots of staples coming loose so I remove the entire cover. The padding was only 2 mm of plastic foam so it won't be missed.

Some closeups of the junk pedals. Perhaps the most common pedal on bikes in the past 20 years. BSO standard fare. Plastic body, no ball bearings. The plastic turns directly on the pedal shaft.

F057341 (6 digits) on the bb is on the lists at 1/17/1949. Looking at the 1940 catalog (more like a hand drawn comic book), It's not clear on much of anything. Some models have the welded on kickstand, some don't. They list some features but not the welded on kickstand which was a big deal in some years literature. There are 2 ladies models pictured but there are so few models in the comic book catalog, it's mostly useless. Many models of Schwinns were made with few changes for decades. Identifying a particular model missing all the parts is getting me nowhere.

F with only 5 digits returns in 1952.
Also, it was about 1952 when Schwinn moved the sn to the left rear dropout.

Schwinn changed the numbering system again in 1958 where The first letter is the month, and the second (digit) is the last digit of the year. F=June, the zero is 1960 plus 5 more digits. so it looks like it could be June 30 1960 except the number is on the bb, not the dropout.

But there is no welded on kickstand bracket. Original paint, there are some slight ding marks from a bolted on kickstand. By 1960 all the bike would be ef construction, not fillet brass brazed and would have the welded on kickstand.

76 years old frame.
